APA referencing in a nutshell
In your text
- cite your sources in author-date-page format:
(Hickey, 2011, p. 177).

At the end of your document
- provide a bibliography (entitled references in bold capitals) listing all the works cited in your text, with full references in author-date format and in A-Z order:
