HARVARD referencing in a nutshell
In your text
- cite your sources in author-date-page format:
(Hickey, 2011, p. 177)
Hickey (2011, p. 62)
At the end of your document
- provide a bibliography listing all the works cited in your text, with full references in author-date format and in A-Z order:
Hickey, M.A. (2011) Get real: reality and mystery. Lanham, MD: University Press of America.
There are many variations of the Harvard style, especially with punctuation, bold and italic. Citation Studio is based on the 11th edition of Cite Them Right.
